What do YOU eat?

When you can make anything you'd like? (time, ingredients, TALENT not a problem)
When you can ORDER anything you'd like?
When you're at Mc Donalds (and don't say 'I don't EAT Mc'Donalds...You're lying!)
what's your favorite snack?

I'm looking for some ideas here! (OK, not really Mc Donalds ideas, but I think you can learn a lot from what a person orders from Mc Donalds...Really! OK, not really! I just want to know, that's all!!!)
Give me what you eat, and then if you have something you'd like to share (not beef or fish though) that's even a double bonus! I'm TRYING ever so hard to join the ranks of you carnivores...and I have been for a LONG time! Sometimes its easy to eat Chicken, but other times I'm just grossed out. I'm looking for chicken ideas, MAYBE turkey...no fish, beef or pork please!
---
Don't you love those days where you SAY you're going to get a lot done and you actually DO? I'm kicking some royal butt in this house today! It feels SO good!!
---
I'm taking a 13 hr one way trip with my family next week. Oy! That's just travel time, NOT time spent stopping and stretching. Should be interesting, no?
---
Later Gators!! (Carrie, that's for you!)

Our favorite meal in our house is what I call fajitas (mine don't sizzle!). I cut up chicken, red and green bell pepper and onion and sautee them in the skilled with some chili powder and lemon juice and serve it in warm tortillas with some cheese. I love grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. I like to cook chicken in a sauce I make from cream of mushroom soup and parmasean cheese. We love to roast meat. I like more elaborate recipes, too, but these days I don't have a lot of time.
When we eat out we love to go for Indian or a good steak and I love pizza at McDonalds I like the big mac or mcchicken.

Let's see...I eat at McDonald's all the time! LOL I order something diff each time too. :)

If I have LOTS of time I like making Chicken Enchiladas. It is alot of work but they are sooo yummy. Here is how I do it.

You boil the chicken (gross I know) I use chicken tenders. You let it cool off and then you shred it. No bones don't worry! :)
I cut up an onion, I shread Monterrey Jack Cheese and I cut up black olives.
THEN you get the corn tortillas and you heat up some oil...you put the tortilla in the oil for a few seconds on each side. This makes it so you can roll the sides of the enchilada and the tortilla doesn't break. :)

oHHH you also need the green enchilada sauce. I get mild las palmas. it's yummy and not too spicy.

then after you put the tortillas in the oil you dip the tortilla in the green sauce, put some chicken, onion, cheese and olives and the roll in on each side ilke an envelope kind of and then you put it in a baking pan. DO it over and over till you've made enough.
Pour some sauce and cheese on top of them and throw them in the oven for about 35 min on 350.

YUMMY!!! :)

Is that too much work?? It takes me an hour! LOL

I get a lot of recipes from campbellskitchen.com, they are always really good. Our favorites are the lemon broccoli chicken and creamy mustard porkchops. They are meals you can make really fast (under 30 mins) and you just mainly use campbells soups. I can't eat McDonalds, it grosses me out. Worked there for awhile and then I really stopped eating it after watching Super Size Me.

I think I've found a search engine with a sense of humor - I was actually looking for articles on how to cook chicken, and here I am on a site called What do YOU eat?. There's probably an electronic explanation for this and I have enjoyed the experience, so no harm done. Have a nice day Jennifer - if that's your real name :0)

Well, I've enjoyed my visit to What do YOU eat?, but I'm not sure it's what I was looking for. I was actually searching for articles on how to cook salmon - these search engines are weird! Just thought I'd say hello while I'm here :0)
