It looks harder than it is (Trust me, it took me days the first time I skinned my blog). Go to Blogskins.com and pick a skin that is set for Blogger, it makes it a hundred times easier. Basically you just want to place that code into your template on your blog. You'll have to do some tweaking based on any counters you have and such.
I'll try to help where I can....TRUST ME I'm not a pro, so if someone more experienced offers you better take them. HAHAHA. But I'll help you if I can! :) Once you find a skin we can go from there :)
I know that jenny over at Greek Goddess does that for a living. I am sure she is very reasonable. She is on my blogroll if you want to check her out. I can also help with a few (very very few) html questions.
Totally unrelated, BUT... the book How Language Comes to Children says that canonical babbling happens between SIX and TEN months often more towards seven than six. I'm working on getting more info (its TOO HOT for me to think clearly and I've had a shitty time at work and am generally pissy) and I'm looking up stuff about late talkers. I haven't forgotten you. =)
